Overview:
Speech Associates is hiring for a part or full-time ABA Therapist position to join our team in providing clinical services through 1:1 ABA/IBI therapy. In this contract-based position you will have the opportunity to work with children and youth in your community diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities. Working collaboratively with a BCBA or Senior Therapist supervisor, you will use ABA principles and Evidence-Based Treatment methods to support clients with skills of daily living, cognitive skills-building, motor skills, behaviour intervention, emotion regulation, and more!
We are looking for an ABA Therapist with experience providing ABA/IBI therapy to help us meet the support needs of clients in the community. The ABA Therapist will have previous experience providing ABA/IBI Therapy to children and youth, and will demonstrate skills and knowledge of the various conditions, needs, and areas of support pertaining to this population.
Join our team to help support clients in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and surrounding communities by providing ABA/IBI Therapy in-home, school, or daycare.

Speech Associates contracts over 100 clinicians including ABA Therapists, Board-Certified Behavioural Analysts, Senior Therapists, Speech Therapy Assistants, and Speech-Language Pathologists. Our Therapists work via virtual, hybrid, and in-person traveling options, while our Administrative Staff proudly support and facilitate the provision of care.
About the Role
In the role you will work 1:1 with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, or other developmental disabilities, while employing Applied Behaviour Analysis teaching strategies as directed by our dedicated team of BCBAs. Successful candidates will collaborate with other team members in the consistent implementation of a Behaviour Intervention Plans and Therapy Programs, maintain regular communication with parents, and document therapy per BACB and practice standards.
As a community-based service provider, you will travel to the client’s home, school, or daycare to ensure maximum comfort and promote long-term learning through teaching in familiar and appropriate environments.
ABA Therapists are required to record data and maintain accurate records to track client progress. Record-keeping will include maintenance of an in-home therapy binder as well as detailed session documentation through our online platform, Alayacare.

Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a personal vehicle.
- Ability to travel up to 30-minutes to client homes
- 1+ Year(s) providing clinical ABA Therapy and Evidence-Based Behavioural Therapy Techniques
- Proven organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members, clients and their families.
- Strong ability to problem solve, work independently, and self-monitor
- A passion for helping others with their communication and behaviour goals!
Assets
- Ability to work evenings and weekends to meet client schedules.
- Previous experience using Alayacare for SOAP notes, or related software.
- Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT), or working towards RBT certification
- A BSc, or Diploma in a related field
