WE NEED
We’re looking to hire a proactive and service-oriented Software Support Specialist to join our internal support team at our corporate headquarters in Surrey, BC. This role will provide first-line support for our internal users, primarily on our custom-built AR Portal application, Google Workspace, and other web-based tools used by Absolute Results. Occasionally, this position requires on-call or after-hours work to support critical business needs.
As the Customer Support Specialist at Absolute Results, you will be a key resource in helping internal teams resolve technical issues, access tools, and maintain smooth daily operations. Your role includes creating and maintaining written and video FAQs to empower users and reduce repetitive support requests. You will work closely with different departments, ensuring their requests are handled promptly, while escalating more complex issues when necessary.
This role demands a strong focus on customer service and problem-solving. Whether it’s resetting passwords, troubleshooting basic issues, or providing user training, you will be the go-to person for internal team members needing assistance with various systems.
Your attention to detail and ability to communicate technical information in simple terms will create a positive support experience. Occasionally, you’ll assist outside regular business hours to address urgent or high-priority tasks.
YOU LOVE
- Providing excellent customer support and resolving day-to-day technical issues for internal teams.
- Assisting with user access, troubleshooting the AR Portal, Google Workspace, and other web-based tools.
- Creating and maintaining written and video FAQs to help users troubleshoot and resolve common issues independently.
- Responding quickly to internal requests for password resets, login support, and basic troubleshooting.
- Documenting processes and creating guides to streamline internal support.
- Escalating complex issues to higher-level technical teams when needed, while ensuring users stay informed.
- Collaborating with various departments to assist with new user onboarding, including account setup and permissions.
- Occasionally working outside regular business hours to support time-sensitive requests.
- Continuously learning new systems and tools to enhance the support experience.
YOU HAVE
- 1+ years of experience in a help desk, customer service, or similar role.
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar) and experience with web-based tools.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Experience creating written and video documentation (FAQs, user guides, etc.).
- Great organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple requests efficiently.
- Flexibility for on-call or after-hours support when necessary.
- A positive, service-oriented attitude, with a desire to learn and grow within the role.
