Pro Shop Customer Service Associate

Eagle Valley Golf Club & Academy is looking for dependable, customer-focused individuals to join our Pro Shop team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, has strong communication skills, and takes ownership of their work. Golf knowledge is an asset, but a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to exceptional service are even more important.
What You'll Do
As a member of our Pro Shop team, you will help create a first-class experience for every guest by:
- Greeting members and guests with a welcoming, professional attitude.
- Checking golfers in for tee times and processing payments accurately.
- Answering phones, emails, and customer inquiries.
- Promoting and selling green fees, memberships, merchandise, lessons, camps, and events.
- Assisting with merchandise displays, inventory, and retail presentation.
- Coordinating with outside operations staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Supporting tournaments, leagues, junior camps, and special events.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional Pro Shop environment.
- Performing administrative tasks and using point-of-sale and booking software.

- Available to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays throughout the golf season.
- Committed to following through on responsibilities and supporting the team.
- Friendly, professional, and confident interacting with customers.
- Comfortable recommending products, programs, and services that enhance the guest experience.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a busy environment.
- Comfortable using computers and learning new software.
- Able to remain calm and positive during busy periods.
- A team player who is willing to help wherever needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, recreation, or administrative support is preferred.
- Sales or retail experience is considered an asset.
- Golf knowledge or a willingness to learn the game is an asset.
- Experience handling cash and point-of-sale systems is beneficial.
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
