Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and patient-focused
OB/GYN Sonographer Technologist for a well-established clinic in
Midtown Toronto.
This is an excellent opportunity for a sonographer who is confident in women’s imaging and passionate about delivering high-quality diagnostic care in a professional and collaborative setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a full range of obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound examinations
- Conduct pelvic and endovaginal scans with accuracy and confidence
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologists and referring physicians
- Obtain measurements including M-mode, Color Doppler, and Spectral Doppler studies
- Prepare and educate patients prior to examinations, ensuring comfort and professionalism
- Maintain proper infection control, sterilization, and equipment care standards
- Accurately document patient information and exam findings
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, gynecologists, and clinic staff
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
- Active registration with CMRITO
- Demonstrated proficiency in OB/GYN imaging (pelvic and endovaginal required)
- Strong understanding of female reproductive anatomy and physiology
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong attention to detail and clinical accuracy
