We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering high-quality meals to our guests. Duties
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, chopping, and measuring.
- Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Help train new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.
Skills
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal preparation processes.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others.
- Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment are advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in all aspects of cooking.
