Job Summary
The Kitchen Assistant/Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and store areas while assisting the Cook when needed. This role supports food preparation, organization, and general cleanliness.
Duties
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and store areas.
- Organize kitchen tools and utensils.
- Assist with ingredient preparation, such as chopping vegetables or meats.
- Support the Cook with kitchen tasks when needed.
- Handle utensils carefully, especially knives.
- Use cleaning products responsibly.
- Assist with outdoor cleaning areas and trash disposal as needed.
- Help keep the kitchen safe, clean, and organized.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
- Diligent and reliable.
- Able to follow cleaning and kitchen procedures.
- Comfortable assisting with basic food preparation.
- Able to work safely around kitchen tools and cleaning products.
- Team-oriented and willing to support cooks and other staff when needed.
Pay: $17.20-$24.13 per hour
