Wild Rose School Division invites applications for a Full Time Teacher for HW Pickup School in Drayton Valley, Alberta. Duties will commence on August 24, 2026. Specific grade to be determined based on the successful applicant.
Are you a passionate, student-centered educator who thrives in a collaborative environment? Our school is seeking a dynamic middle school generalist teacher to join our dedicated team. Shop and music experience would be assets. The ideal candidate is a relational educator who understands the unique academic, social, and emotional needs of middle school learners and excels at working within a grade-level team. Our school utilizes the Collaborative Response framework as part of our guiding philosophy.
H.W. Pickup is a grade five through eight middle school located in Drayton Valley, Alberta. We serve a population of approximately 470 students.
A complete package will include a cover letter, resume, names and contact information for three references and a copy of their Alberta teaching certification in a single google or pdf document. The successful applicant will be required to provide an original, satisfactory, and recent (within six months) Criminal Record check with vulnerable as a condition of employment.
The competition will remain open until a suitable candidate is selected.
