The Opportunity
I'm building a personal brand and looking for a creative partner to bring it to life on camera. This isn't a typical corporate gig—you'll be working directly with me to capture authentic, engaging content for vlogs, social media, and whatever platforms we decide to tackle together.
If you love storytelling, thrive in a collaborative (but low-bureaucracy) environment, and get excited about helping someone grow their presence from the ground up, keep reading.
What You'll Do
- Shoot vlogs and lifestyle content — Follow me through events, projects, day-in-the-life moments, and planned shoots. You'll need to be comfortable capturing candid footage as well as more polished setups.
- Edit with personality — While a dedicated editor will handle post-production, you should have a strong enough editing background to review cuts, give precise feedback, and flag anything that's off — whether that's pacing, color, audio sync, or the overall vibe. You'll be the bridge between the raw footage you shoot and the final product.
- Capture stills for social and press — Headshots, behind-the-scenes moments, promotional images. Strong photography chops are a must.
- Collaborate on creative direction — This is a two-person team, not an assembly line. I want your ideas on formats, series concepts, trends worth trying, and what's working (or not).
- Keep everything organized — Manage files, backups, and assets so we can find anything when we need it.
What I'm Looking For
- A portfolio that shows range—vlogs, short-form social content, event coverage, or personal projects that demonstrate storytelling instincts.
- Solid editing skills in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Bonus points for After Effects or motion graphics.
- Confident with Lightroom and Photoshop for photo editing.
- Comfortable operating your own camera gear, lighting, and audio equipment (or mine, depending on the shoot).
- Self-directed and reliable. I don't want to micromanage—you should be able to take a rough idea and run with it.
- Good communication. We'll be spending a lot of time together; I need someone who's easy to work with and isn't afraid to push back with a better idea.
Nice to Have
- Own gear is a huge asset — If you come with your own camera, lenses, lighting, or audio equipment, that's a major plus and will absolutely be considered during the hiring process. That said, we're committed to investing in the right tools to produce quality content, so don't let gear hold you back from applying.
- Experience building content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or similar platforms.
- An eye for trends without being a slave to them.
- Basic motion graphics or animation skills.
Why This Could Be a Great Fit
You'll have real creative ownership, a direct line to the decision-maker (me), and the chance to help shape a brand from the early stages. If you're looking for a role where your work is visible, your opinion matters, and no two days look the same—let's talk.
