About Ravelle Auto Group
Ravelle Auto Group consists of Listowel Ford, Listowel Chrysler, and Listowel Honda. As part of our continued growth, we are creating a new leadership role: Group Used Car Manager.
This is a senior leadership position responsible for developing and driving used vehicle operations across all three dealerships. The successful candidate will lead inventory acquisition, pricing strategy, inventory management, and performance improvement initiatives while working closely with dealership leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Acquisition & Strategy
- Lead used vehicle acquisition through trades, auctions, wholesale channels, and direct sourcing
- Develop and maintain a strong inventory pipeline across all locations
- Ensure the right inventory mix to support sales objectives
Inventory Management & Profitability
- Monitor inventory levels, aging, and vehicle distribution
- Improve inventory turn and reduce aged inventory
- Implement market-based pricing strategies to maximize profitability
Leadership & Performance
- Work closely with General Managers and Sales Managers
- Establish accountability and performance standards across all locations
- Coach and develop store-level teams
- Monitor key performance indicators and drive continuous improvement
Process Improvement
- Standardize appraisal, acquisition, reconditioning, pricing, and merchandising processes
- Utilize industry tools and data to support decision-making and operational efficiency
What Success Looks Like
- Increased used vehicle sales volume
- Improved inventory turn and reduced aging
- Strong vehicle acquisition performance
- Consistent processes across all three dealerships
- Increased profitability
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Used Car Manager, Inventory Manager, or similar automotive leadership role
- Proven success in inventory acquisition, pricing, and used vehicle operations
- Strong understanding of auctions, wholesale channels, and market-based pricing
- Multi-store experience is considered an asset
- Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills
