Overview
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles and ensuring optimal performance and safety. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on automobiles and trucks
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, schematics, and diagnostic software to identify issues accurately
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and answering questions professionally
- Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and automotive air conditioning (A/C) systems
- Complete thorough Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs) using AutoVitals and clearly document findings
- Utilize modern diagnostic equipment including Snap-n ZEUS scan tool, Hunter Road Force elite balancer, Hunter wheel alignment, and digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs)
Skills
- Licensed Automotive Service Technician or Red Seal with experience repairing import and domestic vehicles
- Mechanical knowledge of engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and automotive air conditioning (A/C) systems
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic instruments
- Strong understanding of schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
