Introduction:
We are on the hunt for a talented Lead Audio Technician (A1) to join our team in the sunny okanagan and help us continue to deliver exceptional event experiences. The Lead Audio Technician will play a pivotal role ensuring the success of our events and will focus on the set-up, operation and dismantling of AV equipment for small to large scale productions across BC & Nationwide, and beyond specializing in Audio Engineering. The role also involves shop and equipment maintenance responsibilities.

What you will have the opportunity to do:
- Delivery and supervision of scheduled events requiring Audio equipment
- Set-up, operation and dismantle of AV equipment: Specializing in Audio Engineering
- Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly as they arise
- Liaise with internal team to develop solutions for audio/video/lighting configurations in order to meet project requirements
- Use research and experience to provide input on technical equipment purchases
- Provide an exceptional customer service experience to clients and/or venue staff
- Develop leadership skills to assist in the training and development of junior technicians
- Loading and unloading of equipment from trucks or trailers
- Driving company vehicles and operating equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Provide general warehouse support and assist with maintenance of video equipment
- Ensure proper storage, transportation and maintenance of equipment
- Complete required paperwork and data entry in a timely and accurate manner
- Help to maintain a safe working environment at all times by conforming to all established procedures
- Aid in the development of operating procedures
- Other duties as required
To be successful in this role you have:
- 5+ Years in the Audio Visual Industry in a lead audio engineering role (A1) or similar
- 2+ years of experience of supervising a production crew
- A diploma in Audio Engineering is preferred
- Experience with line-array systems for tours, concerts and festivals a must or large corporate events
- Experience with operating digital mixing boards
- Have a valid class 5 BC drivers license or equivalent
- Experience operating larger delivery trucks (1, 3, 5 Tons)
- Are physically fit, safety-minded and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Have the ability to be flexible in working hours and be available to work outside of regular business hours
