Bouygues Energies and Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Mobile M&E Engineer to join our Greater London Mobile Maintenance Engineering team. The mobile team in London supports reactive and PPM maintenance activities across all the sites we currently operate ranging from schools and hospitals to major Government buildings across Greater London and the South East.
The role:
- To provide technical engineering support across the Mobile Solutions client portfolio within the Greater London/South East England area
- To deliver planned, preventative and reactive maintenance in line with the contract service delivery plan
- Apply relevant trade skills to undertaking scheduled installation works as directed by the Supervisor
- Responsible for M&E Equipment associated Gas/Mechanical and Electrical equipment maintenance inclusive of record keeping, especially Gas and M&E Compliance
- Communicate effectively with team members and Mobile helpdesk
- Must fulfil various AP & RP roles when required
- To produce engineer reports and create quotations
- Working 40 hours per week from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, plus participation in the on call rota and out of hours activity
The person:
- Must hold a recognised electrical or mechanical trade apprenticeship and/or relevant qualifications to level 3 (theory and practice) in a relevant electrical or mechanical discipline with suitable industry experience
- Building maintenance and installation experience is essential
- Must have previous experience with hot and cold water systems and legionella understanding
- Desirable to have had experience in a healthcare environment
- Strongly client-focused, able to take ownership of projects and issues
- Excellent communication skills together with a first-class customer service ethic
- Able to obtain DBS and Government Security clearance
- Must hold a valid full driving license
