Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in food preparation to ensure timely service and consistent quality
- Cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food handling and safety protocols
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks
- Assist with plating dishes and ensuring each meal meets presentation standards before serving
- Follow all food safety procedures, including proper storage, sanitation, and handling of ingredients
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent food service experience
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly processes
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
