Mobile Detailer Wanted — Vybrant Mobile Detailing
Pay: $20/hr during training, up to $25/hr once fully self-reliant (no callbacks, no complaints) | Paid every other Friday
Schedule: Monday–Friday, full availability required | Hours vary week to week
License: Valid Class 5 required
The job, straight up
We're looking for someone reliable to join our mobile detailing team. This isn't a desk job, you'll be driving to different locations every day, working on your feet, and turning dirty vehicles into clean ones. If you're the kind of person who gets satisfaction from a job well done, who looks at a vehicle you just detailed and feels genuinely proud of it, this is your kind of work. A lot of people find real satisfaction in helping someone get their car back to looking (and feeling) brand new. If that sounds like you, keep reading.
What we need from you
- A valid Class 5 driver's license. Non-negotiable, you'll be driving our van.
- Reliability. If we schedule you, we need to know you'll show up. No call, no show is a dealbreaker.
- Trustworthiness. You'll be working around customers' vehicles and sometimes their property. We need people we can trust without having to watch over their shoulder.
- Attention to detail. This is the job. Half-done work isn't acceptable, customers notice, and we'll hear about it.
- Detailing experience is a plus, but not required. We'll train the right person. What matters more is your work ethic and whether you take pride in the work.
- Flexibility with the schedule. Some days are busy, some are slow. The workload isn't consistent, and neither are the hours, you need to be okay with that.
What we provide
- A fully equipped detail van
- All tools, products, and chemicals
- On-the-job training
Pay structure, honestly explained
You start at $20/hr while training. As you become fully self-reliant, meaning you can run jobs on your own with no callbacks and no customer complaints, your pay goes up to $25/hr. Pay is every other Friday.
Compensation starts the moment you arrive at your first job of the day and runs through the completion of your last job, travel time between jobs during the day is paid, but the clock isn't running before your first stop or after your last one.
After a 90-day probationary period, we offer a one-time option to move to a flat-rate compensation model for those who want it.
Time off
We get it, life happens. We're flexible with time off requests as long as you give us advance notice.
Who this is NOT for
If you need a predictable 9-to-5 with the exact same hours every week, this probably isn't the right fit, the work fluctuates with demand. But if you don't mind that trade-off in exchange for good pay, a provided vehicle, and work that actually feels rewarding, we want to hear from you.
To apply: Reply with your availability and a bit about why you'd be a good fit. Class 5 license required.
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Benefits:
- Casual dress
- Company car
- Flexible schedule
- Profit sharing
Work Location: On the road
