Description:
HRI Group (Heritage Restoration Inc.) is looking for motivated, hard-working individuals for positions as a permanent, full time Shop Carpenter Helper. The position will offer different tasks and challenges within a company that is growing and promotes a team atmosphere. Candidate must have knowledge and experience in carpentry and a good attitude. We are a woodworking shop specializing in restoring heritage buildings where we mainly recreate/restore custom mouldings as well as windows and doors but every day is different.
There is the opportunity to work plenty of hours, and tradesman consistently work all year. Compensation package will be highly competitive for the industry and will depend on experience, qualifications and overall suitability for the position.
Required Experience:
- Experience in a joinery shop environment
- Ability to use wood-working tools & machinery safely and accurately
- An enthusiasm for working with and recreating wooden elements
- An eye for detail and a fast learner
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Painitng and Staining Experience
