$21.00–$25/hour + tips - Typical total earnings of $25–$35/hour | Full-time | Seasonal with year-round benefis
Golden Fries is an established Ottawa food truck business that has been serving the community since 2009. We operate multiple food trucks throughout the season and are looking for a reliable, motivated full-time team member to join us for the season and return with us year after year.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying busy, working with people and being part of a team. Restaurant experience is an asset, but not required — we will train the right person.
What You’ll Earn & Receive
- $21.00/hour starting wage
- $22.30/hour after 90 days
- $4–$11/hour in tips, paid daily

About the Job
Our team members are cross-trained on all areas of our food trucks. You’ll learn and work in a variety of positions, including:
- Food preparation and prep cooking
- Fryer cooking
- Grill cooking
- Cashier
- Handout/window service
- Cleaning and sanitization
- Restocking and maintaining an organized work area
You won’t be stuck doing the same task all day. Our team works together and everyone helps wherever they’re needed.

- Is willing to learn all stations and take on different responsibilities
- Takes food safety, cleanliness and customer allergies seriously
- Is looking for a position they can return to season after season
Restaurant or food-service experience is an asset, but we are happy to train someone with the right attitude and work ethic.
Food Safety
All employees are required to follow food safety and sanitation standards and will be expected to obtain a Food Handler Certification within 90 days of starting employment.
Our Season
Golden Fries operates seasonally and closes for the winter from approximately December through mid-March. Our full-time seasonal employees generally have the opportunity to return each year, and may be eligible to receive EI benefits during the winter closure.
