Job Description
Break Edu Inc. is a Toronto-based education consulting company specializing in Canadian high school programs, student management, university admissions consulting, and after-school academic programs.
We are looking for a Part-time Content Marketing Assistant who can help us create and manage content for our blog, online communities, Instagram, short-form videos, and website.
This position will start as part-time, with the possibility of increased hours or transition to full-time depending on performance and fit.
Responsibilities
- Write and publish blog posts and online community posts
- Create Instagram posts, reels, and other social media content
- Film and edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms
- Assist with content planning for student stories, program introductions, university admission results, and educational topics
- Upload and manage website content using WordPress
- Write SEO-friendly content for blogs and website pages
- Organize education-related information into clear and easy-to-understand content
- Maintain Break Edu’s brand tone and visual style across different platforms
- Support basic marketing and content-related tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Experience creating content for blogs, social media, or online communities
- Strong writing skills and the ability to explain information clearly
- Experience creating Instagram content
- Basic short-form video filming and editing skills
- Experience using Canva, CapCut, or similar content creation tools
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to complete tasks on time
- Willing to learn and able to apply feedback quickly
- Positive and cooperative attitude
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using WordPress
- Experience with SEO writing
- Experience creating Reels, Shorts, TikToks, or other short-form videos
- Experience in education, study abroad, tutoring, or admissions-related content
- Knowledge of the Canadian education system or study abroad experience
- Ability to use AI tools for content planning, writing, or editing
- Bilingual ability in Korean and English is an asset
Schedule and Pay
- Part-time position
- 20–25 hours per week
- Hourly pay based on experience, skills, and portfolio
- Possibility of increased hours or full-time transition depending on performance and company needs
