Operations Supervisor – Safety Division
FoxCanada is currently seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our Safety Division. This is a hands-on working supervisor position responsible for leading a high-performing technical team while actively participating in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of life safety equipment.
The Operations Supervisor will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate schedules and priorities, support team performance and development, and provide hands-on technical assistance when required. The successful candidate will lead by example and play an active role in ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, accurately, and to required standards.
Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for a motivated, technically capable leader with:
- 3–5 years of previous supervisory or team-lead experience, preferably within an industrial or safety related environment.
- A relevant accredited diploma, degree or journey-person trade.
- Strong ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop team members.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and changing schedules.
- Professional communication skills and the ability to work effectively with employees, customers, and management.
- A hands-on approach and willingness to work alongside the team and provide technical support as required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related computer software.
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, accountability, and customer service.
This position is designed as a developmental leadership role, providing the successful candidate with the experience, skills, and exposure needed to progress into future management roles and broader leadership responsibilities within the company.
