We are seeking an experienced deck builder/carpenter who takes pride in his or her work and enjoys working as part of the team. You must have your own vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Work with a team on design/build projects in both residential and commercial spaces
- Understand blueprints and carry out specific renovation plans to spec
- Ability to undertake all aspects of a project, from demo to finishing work
- Product knowledge and willingness to learn about accessibility
Skills & Requirements
- Previous years of renovation or construction experience is required
- Competence and confidence with small tools, power tools, equipment
- Ability to follow specific accessibility guidelines in Ontario’s Building Code (OBC) with an aptitude to solve problems on the spot
- Excellent time management and meticulous attention to detail
- A valid driver’s license
- Physically able to work in inaccessible homes & ability to lift/transport heavy equipment or products as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
