YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist lawyers through all phases of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and document management.
- Draft, organize, and maintain legal documents such as pleadings, affidavits, and correspondence.
- Manage electronic and physical files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate meetings, court dates, and deadlines while maintaining detailed calendars.
- Communicate effectively with clients, counsel, and court staff to facilitate smooth case progress.
- Conduct background research and prepare materials for hearings, trials, and other proceedings.
- Provide general administrative assistance to ensure efficient workflow and case management.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5 years of working as a litigation assistant or paralegal, with proven familiarity across all stages of litigation.
- Completion of a recognized Legal Assistant or Paralegal program is ideal, though equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Strong interpersonal abilities to build and maintain effective professional relationships.
- Excellent ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled at analyzing situations and making sound, well-reasoned decisions.
- Consistently precise and thorough in all aspects of work.
- Resourceful, self-motivated, and able to anticipate needs before they arise.
