Job Summary
Reporting to the General Manager, The Finance & Accounting Specialist (3PL) is responsible for the administration, coordination, and oversight of the Company's day-to-day financial operations. This role covers customer billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll administration, financial reporting, reconciliations, and operational financial analysis. The position works closely with Operations, Customer Service, and Executive Management to ensure financial accuracy, profitability, cash flow, and efficient business operations.

Key Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Financial Operations
- Oversee daily financial transactions and processes related to the Company's 3PL and warehousing operations.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, and overall financial performance.
- Assist management with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial performance reports and KPIs.
Customer Billing & Revenue Management
- Handles all customer invoicing and billing activities.
- Verify storage, handling, transportation, and accessorial charges.
- Maintain customer pricing structures and billing schedules.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accurate revenue capture.
Accounts Receivable
- Handles collections and follow-up on outstanding accounts.
- Apply customer payments and reconcile accounts.
- Monitor aging reports and identify collection risks.
- Work with customers to resolve payment issues.
Accounts Payable
- Review and process vendor invoices.
- Verify expenses against approved purchase orders and agreements.
- Prepare payment schedules and maintain vendor records.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
Reporting & Reconciliation
- Perform monthly account reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes.
- Maintain financial records and supporting documentation.
- Prepare management reports related to profitability, revenue, expenses, and cash flow.
Operational Support
- Analyze customer profitability and operational costs.
- Monitor inventory-related financial transactions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and process efficiencies.
- Collaborate with warehouse, transportation, customer service, and management teams to ensure financial accuracy.
- Payroll review and data collection
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in financial operations, accounting, finance, or financial administration, preferably in the 3PL or logistics industry.
- 3+ years of experience in AP, AR, customer billing, and payroll processes.
- 3+ years of experience in customer billing & revenue management
- 3+ years of experience in reporting & reconciliation and operational support
- Comfortable working 100 percent in the office
- Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations), SAP or similar ERP software for financial reporting, invoicing, and operational processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

- 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday
