Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Countertop Processor / Warehouse Associate on behalf of our client in Dartmouth, NS.
Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent (40 hours/week)
Position Overview
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking individual to join our client's production team. In this role, you will assist with the production and preparation of laminate countertops while supporting warehouse operations, including shipping and receiving. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities
- Cut, cap, and assemble laminate countertops according to customer specifications.
- Prepare materials for installation and shipment.
- Operate production tools and equipment safely.
- Receive, organize, and store incoming materials.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Work with the team to meet daily production goals and deadlines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in manufacturing, production, construction, or a related field.
- Experience with shipping and receiving is an asset.
- Experience using measuring tools and cutting materials is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.
- Able to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physically demanding work, including standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Forklift experience or certification is an asset but not required.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
