Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented B2B Sales & Account Manager to manage and grow a mature portfolio of commercial accounts. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for businesses looking to optimize their packaging supply chain. You will handle customer inquiries, process orders from our daily inventory of over half a million boxes, coordinate custom structural/printed box requests, and maintain strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management: Serve as the main contact for a diverse client base—ranging from e-commerce startups to large-scale industrial corporations.
- Order Facilitation: Guide customers through our shifting inventory of stock shipping boxes, manufacturer overruns, and once-used corrugated boxes to find their ideal packaging solutions.
- Custom Project Coordination: Collaborate with clients requiring specialized sizes or custom-printed logos, managing the pipeline from initial quote to final delivery.
- Inbound & Outbound Sales: Respond responsively to inbound inquiries while identifying new B2B business opportunities in the GTA.
- Inventory & Logistics Liaison: Work closely with our warehouse team to track stock levels, break skids when necessary to accommodate unique client needs, and ensure fast, next-day delivery schedules.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 2–5 years in B2B sales, account management, or customer service—ideally within the packaging, corrugate, manufacturing, or industrial supply sectors.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with corrugated box specifications (single-wall vs. double-wall, dimensions, Gaylords) is a significant asset.
- Communication: Strong communication and negotiation skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Organization: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and manage high-volume order pipelines accurately.
- Local Geography: Strong familiarity with the Greater Toronto Area (Toronto, Mississauga, Vaughan, etc.) for logistics and delivery coordination.
