Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teacher to join our team. Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and team members as needed.
- Incorporate diverse teaching strategies to accommodate children with different learning styles and abilities, including those with disabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, developmental milestones, and classroom activities.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and safety standards.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with early childhood education best practices.
Skills
- Proficiency in English; bilingual skills in French or other languages are a plus.
- Strong childcare experience with a focus on early childhood education principles.
- Experience working with children with special needs or disabilities is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Competent in computer skills including basic computer operation, documentation, and educational software.
- Classroom experience demonstrating effective teaching methods and classroom management techniques.
- Strong organizational skills for managing lesson plans, records, and daily activities efficiently.
- Effective time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities within the classroom setting.
- Leadership qualities that inspire trust and foster a positive learning environment.
