Hiring Customer Service Representative (CSR) in Etobicoke
Shift: 8 am - 430pm (Mon-Fri)
Training: 730 am - 4pm (Mon-Fri)
$20-$22/hour paid bi weekly
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) , serving as the primary point of contact between customers, warehouse personnel, and drivers/carriers. The ideal candidate will have previous experience or knowledge of the warehouse and logistics industry, along with strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
The successful candidate should be confident, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with computer systems, data entry, Microsoft Office, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is also required.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Facility Manager, Supervisors, and warehouse personnel to support daily operations.
- Communicate with customers by phone and email, addressing inquiries and providing timely updates.
- Coordinate with drivers and carriers regarding pickup and delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS), including product types, quantities, materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies.
- Process incoming receipts and ensure all information is accurately entered into the WMS.
- Complete QA receipt handling, sampling, and related documentation.
- Generate inventory and stock reports as required.
- Perform regular cycle counts by comparing system records with physical inventory.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies, identify errors or variances, and report findings.
- Release customer orders through the WMS for warehouse personnel to process.
- Sign carrier drivers in and out of the facility and ensure proper documentation is completed.
- Process and assemble courier/sample orders.
- Prepare order documentation, shipping paperwork, and Bills of Lading (BOLs) through the WMS.
- Process product returns, damages, and related documentation.
- Participate in corporate safety initiatives and safety groups.
- Process and allocate inventory transactions related to co-packing and re-packing operations.
- Organize and maintain hard-copy files, including receipt, shipment, and product documentation.
- Complete weekly and monthly system reports related to invoicing.
- Prepare warehouse productivity reports for review with the Facility Manager.
- Support additional administrative and operational duties as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, warehousing, logistics, or a related industry.
- Strong customer-service mindset with a commitment to providing a positive customer experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, data entry systems, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple customer requests and priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling inventory and customer information.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a busy operational environment.
