Are you ready to make an impact through data? Join our team and help drive operational performance through analytics, capacity planning, and KPI insights that support smarter decisions and more effective maintenance operations. We are seeking two Controls and Operations Support Specialists.
As a Controls & Operations Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the Track & Structures Department through data-driven analysis and operational insights. You will be responsible for analyzing operational data, monitoring performance trends, supporting KPI reporting, and leading capacity planning activities that enhance operational effectiveness. By translating complex data into actionable insights, you will help improve decision-making, optimize resource utilization, and drive continuous improvements across maintenance and operational functions. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to the efficient execution of work programs while strengthening performance visibility and supporting the department's operational objectives.

- You have a University Degree, or College Diploma in a related discipline (i.e. Business Administration, Statistics) or a combination of education, training, and experience deemed to be equivalent;
- You have knowledge of Maximo and SAP;
- Knowledge of track & structures and experience with multi-stakeholder projects;
- Extensive knowledge of business administration practices combined with knowledge of relevant policies, procedures and rules;
- Demonstrated ability to identify trends, provide statistical information, as well as strategic support analysis;
- You have excellent administrative, investigative, analytical and problem solving abilities;
- Superior verbal/written communication skills, strong interpersonal, presentation and report writing skills;
- Experience handling multiple projects and making evidence based business decisions in a timely manner;
- Experience coordinating complex, multi-faceted issues/tasks in a challenging environment;
- You are proficient in the use of current computer software packages applicable to work performed (word processing, spreadsheets, graphic presentations, databases etc);
- Must have or rapidly acquire a comprehensive knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code and Related Orders including disability accommodation and accessibility requirements pertaining to passengers and employees.
