We are a Daycare, Boarding and Grooming facility located on a beautiful farmland property in Newmarket, ON. We are looking for Part Time Daycare and Boarding Attendants to join our team to help us to continue to provide the best services and experience for our clients and their pups.
We have indoor and outdoor play areas for the pups to enjoy ! We operate 7 days a week, 365 days a year- including holidays. This is a physical job with lots of walking, kneeling and bending!
We are looking for someone who has a passion working with animals, along with being; reliable, energetic, have good customer service and a hardworking attitude
Job duties include:
- Cleaning (cleaning play areas, picking up after dogs inside & outside, cleaning kennels and maintaining a clean and safe space for the pups and staff)
- Supervising and engaging dog play groups through physical activity indoors and outdoors ( all breeds all sizes) in all weather types
- Feeding and administering medication
- answering phones, emails and booking appointments- other office duties as assigned
- Adhering to our Pet Care Protocols and following pet care instructions set out by the pet parent.
Candidates must:
- Be flexible to accommodate varying shifts ( days, evenings, weekends, holidays)
- have reliable transportation (we are not on a bus route)
- be able to work well in a group and independently
- be comfortable with all breeds and sizes in a group play setting
- Knowledge and Understanding of dog body language
