Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Thrift Store Associate to join our retail team at Bloom 'n Deals Thrift Store. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and maintaining an organized and inviting store environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be detail-oriented, and enjoy engaging with diverse customers. Experience in retail or merchandising are a plus, as they enhance the shopping experience for our community.
This is a unique opportunity to be part of directly supporting the work of the Camrose Women’s Shelter Society. Every shift contributes to creating communities where all people are free from violence and abuse.
About the Role
This is a dynamic, hands-on position where no two days are the same. You’ll be involved in all areas of the store—helping customers, working at the cash, sorting and pricing donations, and supporting the flow of inventory from back room to sales floor.
You’ll also work alongside and support our amazing volunteers, helping to create a positive and welcoming environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
What You’ll Do
- Provide friendly, welcoming customer service
- Operate the cash register and support daily cash-out procedures
- Receive, sort, and price donations
- Help keep the store clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Support and guide volunteers during shifts
- Help ensure smooth day-to-day store operations
- Help oversee daily store operations during times when the Thrift Store Coordinator is not on site

- Reports to the Thrift Store Coordinator
