We are seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Supervisor to lead our crew and oversee the successful execution of landscaping projects. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can manage a team, ensure high-quality workmanship, and maintain efficient, safe job sites. This role requires strong leadership skills, landscaping knowledge, and the ability to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a crew of landscape laborers on various job sites
- Plan, coordinate, and execute landscaping projects from start to finish
- Delegate tasks and ensure work is completed efficiently and to company standards
- Train and mentor team members, providing guidance and support as needed
- Operate and oversee the use of tools and equipment (mowers, trimmers, skid steers, etc.)
- Ensure proper installation of plants, sod, hardscaping, and other landscape features
- Monitor job site safety and enforce safety procedures at all times
- Communicate with management regarding project progress, challenges, and timelines
- Maintain job site cleanliness and organization
- Perform hands-on work alongside the crew as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in landscaping, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of landscaping practices, tools, and materials
- Ability to lead a team and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physically capable of performing manual labor (lifting up to 50 lbs, working outdoors)
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Experience operating landscaping equipment is an asset
