This is an opportunity for our client to position an AI Technical lead who can lead the AI practice at divisional level, drive technical excellence, serve as a trusted adviser, and potentially be part of the Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO), chartered to drive AI Initiatives, and scale it across the organization.
The role would be a blend of strategic leadership, deep hands‑on engineering, and technical oversight, ensuring that AI solutions are robust, scalable, secure, and aligned with AWS best practices.
Ideal candidate would be an expert in AWS AI/ML services, capable of designing complex architectures, mentoring engineering teams, reviewing code, and guiding customers through their AI transformation journey.
Required Skills:
Technical Expertise
- 10+ years of experience in AI/ML, data engineering, or cloud architecture.
- Strong hands‑on experience with AWS AI/ML services including SageMaker, Bedrock, Glue, Redshift, Kinesis, Lambda, and Lake Formation.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit‑learn).
- Experience with IaC tools (AWS CDK, Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Deep understanding of ML algorithms, LLMs, embeddings, vector search, and model optimization.
- Proven experience building production‑grade MLOps pipelines.
Code Review & Engineering Leadership
- Demonstrated ability to review, refactor, and improve developers’ code.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and testing practices.
- Experience mentoring engineering teams and enforcing coding standards.
Leadership & Advisory Skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical and executive stakeholders.
- Experience in consulting, customer advisory, or enterprise architecture roles.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business value.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certifications (ML Specialty, Solutions Architect Professional).
- Experience with generative AI, LLM fine‑tuning, and RAG architectures.
- Background in industry‑specific AI use cases (finance, healthcare, retail, manufacturing).
- Experience leading multi‑disciplinary teams across data, ML, and cloud engineering.
Pay: $67,526.96-$170,891.79 per year
