This position is located at our corporate headquarters in Burnaby, BC.
THE OPPORTUNITY
The Injury Claims Manager owns primary responsibility for the case management of worker’s compensation claims and support of return-to-work plans for all Canadian and USA claims. Working with regulators, supervisors, medical professionals, the affected employee to safely return workers to pre-injury job tasks. In this position you will play a critical role in cost mitigation and maintaining operational capacity by returning workers to work in a safe and timely manner.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR

Post secondary degree in a related field including health promotion, occupational health, kinesiology, nursing or human resources.

Preferred certifications as CRTWC, CDMP or RTWDM

4+ years experience in occupational health and safety, disability management, or workplace wellness, ideally in a multi-jurisdictional environment

Experience providing end to end case management of occupational injuries and demonstrated experience coordinating with the injured worker, company managers, physicians, workers compensation board and other related parties

Demonstrated knowledge and communication skills to provide a high level of support for employees and the ability to communicate and collaborate to support safe and successful return to work plans

Demonstrated knowledge and ability to access and review WCB, OSHA and other state and provincial regulations

Computer skills and experience as needed to produce required reports

Knowledge of safety management systems

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing and maintain high levels of confidentiality and privacy
PAY RANGE
The salary range for this position is $85,000-$95,000 annually based on experience.
