Tauber Music School has been teaching music in Winnipeg since 1981. We have four locations, a great community of 45-50 instructors, and are hiring for September.
We are looking for instructors in:
- Piano, including teachers comfortable with intermediate and advanced students
- Voice
- Guitar
- Group classes for young children
Locations: 2211 McPhillips, 1099 Henderson, 1330 Portage and 140 Meadowood.
Teaching hours are weekday evenings from 4:00 to 9:00 and Saturdays from 9:00 to 4:30. The school year runs September to the end of June, and we ask for a commitment of at least one full school year.
Instructors work as independent contractors and are paid per lesson, twice monthly. Rate depends on your experience, the days and locations you can commit to, and which programs you can teach.
We provide the studios, the instruments, student enrolment, scheduling, billing, marketing, and general administrative support. You teach.
We care more about whether you can teach well than about what credentials you hold. A music degree is welcome but not required.
