An internship as a coop student in the Equipment Financing team at National Bank means acting as a business and data support partner for a national sales team. You contribute directly to sales performance and continuous improvement by transforming data into insights, supporting reporting activities, and participating in projects that influence national strategies. Your role

Analyze market, product, and competitor information to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement

Build, validate, and maintain performance reports, forecasts, and portfolio growth analyses using internal tools

Support sales and coordination teams in loan funding processes, data integrity activities, and documentation

Prepare and present business performance materials, including dashboards, reports, slide decks, and summaries for leadership

Contribute to training content creation, internal communications, and knowledge‑sharing initiatives

Participate in strategic and ad hoc projects, event coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business priorities

The Equipment Financing Vice‑Presidency brings together specialists who work collaboratively to support businesses across Canada by providing flexible financing solutions adapted to their equipment needs.
Within the Equipment Financing department, you work with colleagues across sales, coordination, and leadership teams and report to a Regional Sales leadership role. Your team stands out for its collaborative approach, its analytical mindset, and its commitment to delivering high‑quality support to partners across the country. The work environment encourages learning, initiative, and adaptability.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a college or university program in business, finance, or a related discipline and participating in a co-op program for academic credit.

Have experience with data analysis, reporting, or administrative support in a professional environment

Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret numerical and financial information

Be comfortable using productivity tools such as Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Bi, and Sales Force

Have experience or interest in business intelligence, reporting, or customer relationship tools
