Want to be a part of the growing team of performers. We are currently looking to hire a Electrical Foreman who would like to grow with the company and be a part of the flagship of MDE Electrical and Mechanical Contractors.
The Role
- You will work closely with the management team to deliver projects on time
- Manage the full life cycle of the project
- Lead and coordinate internal and external meetings to ensure owners, PM, architects engineers and any other stakeholders are kept informed of on-going progress and issues
- Mentor and assist journeyman and apprentices
- Be an expert in any electrical related scopes and provide value insight in pre-planning and active construction
- Adhere to all safety standards from inception to completion of the project
- Review blueprints and drawings and provide value as required
Requirements
- 3 years as a electrical foreman or superintendent is a must
- Construction industry and experience is hospital would be required and would be an asset
- Managing a crew of 10 would be ideal
- Experience in mid and large scale construction projects would be an asset
- Electrical certification/designation is required.
Salary will commensurate with experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48.00-$55.00 per hour
