Position Title: Administrative Assistant, Continuing Education (Part-Time)

Do you want to work for an organization where people care about each other? We are currently looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced Administrative Assistant.
In this challenging role, reporting to the Program Manager of Continuing Education, you will be responsible for maintaining an up-to-date filing system and recommending improvements or revisions to meet the department's operational requirements. You will provide administrative assistance during the development of new projects and programs and respond to inquiries from students, faculty, and alumni via phone, email, or in person. The successful candidate will prepare, administer, and compile course KPIs, evaluations, and quality assurance metrics. Additionally, you will produce, collect, track, and maintain course materials, such as notes, outlines, lecture notes, exams, and tests, under the direction of the Program Manager, ensuring official manuals and reports are accurately formatted and updated. A high level of customer service to students, faculty, alumni, and external stakeholders is expected.
This is a permanent part-time position with a requirement to work on-site three days a week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-secondary education in administration/business or related studies

Administrative experience in education and/or student affairs are an asset

Customer service experience is required

Computer literacy in all range of administrative support programs such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

Ability to interact positively with students, faculty, and staff of the College

Good organizational and time management skills

Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision along with a “team player” attitude in fast paced environment

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively– both orally and in writing- with individuals at all levels within the organization

Excellent organization, time management, analytical and research skills

Tact, discretion and ability to exercise professional judgment in a highly confidential environment
