Job Overview:
A fast growing company in the stone industry located in Edmonton, Ab, Canada urgently seeking a full-time Experienced Production scheduler/ Receptionist. You will work together with a team of office staff, Project manager and sales manager whose goal is to create amazing stone products for wonderful clients. Customer service will be a key role in this position. The candidate needs to meet the following:
General Duties:
- Creating and Managing Schedules:
- Develop daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for upcoming projects, production and installtions.
- Adjust schedules as needed based on changes or unforeseen circumstances.
- Communicating with Staff:
- Inform employees about their schedule and any schedule changes.
- Address any scheduling conflicts or concerns that client and may have.
- Coordinating with Different Departments:
- Work with various departments to understand their scheduling needs.
- Ensure that schedules align with overall organizational goals and deadlines.
- Using Scheduling Software:
- Utilize scheduling software to create and manage schedules efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with scheduling software.
- Maintaining Records:
- Keep detailed records of schedules, changes, and employee attendance as well as project details and information.
- Manufacturing:
- Schedule production runs and ensure the availability of materials and staff.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Schedule deliveries and pickups, ensuring timely and efficient transportation.
- Handle inquiries and complaints related to scheduling from clients or customers.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by managing appointments and service schedules effectively.
- Optimization:
- Continuously look for ways to improve scheduling processes and increase efficiency.
- Implement best practices for resource allocation and time management.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00-$28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 44 per week
