We are located on Granville Island inside the Public Market.
The Market Grill is a fun and energetic burger and breakfast restaurant in the heart of the Public Market with a wonderful water view of False Creek. Applicants will work in a fast paced kitchen in a busy Granville Island destination.
Must be willing to work weekends
Our hours of operation are 8am to 7 pm, Monday - Sunday

Wage: Starting at $19 hour - plus tips ~$7-8/hr average
Skills / Qulifications
NOW READY TO HIRE TO START
-One year of experience as a prep cook, line cook, restaurant helper, or dishwasher with experience prepping or cooking food in a kitchen.
-Experience working a fast pace line
-Accuracy and speed in executing tasks
-Ability to work as a team member
Kitchen team 5 to 6 staff
Responsibilities
-Sets up and stocks food items and other necessary supplies.
-Ensures that food comes out in high quality and timely fashion
-Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards
-Maintain cleanliness and complies with food sanitation requirements by properly handling food and ensuring correct storage
-Performs inventory checks and completes food storage logs.
-Food prep throughout the work day
- Preparing burgers and other ready made food for order
-store set up and clean up of cook station
-taking orders and serving food when needed
