At Best Brains, we prepare students for the future. Beyond core subjects, our cutting-edge Coding and Web Development curriculum introduces kids to the fundamentals of computer programming, logic, and creative problem-solving, turning them from consumers of technology into creators.
The Role: We are seeking a tech-savvy and creative individual to teach our Coding and Web Development courses. You will introduce students to programming concepts, web design (HTML/CSS), and potentially other languages like Scratch& Python in a fun and project-based environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Teach introductory to intermediate coding and web development to small groups of students (Grades 3-8).
· Guide students through hands-on projects, from building simple games, applications and websites.
· Explain complex programming concepts in an age-appropriate and engaging manner.
· Foster a classroom culture of innovation, debugging, and collaborative problem-solving.
· Adapt lessons to accommodate different learning paces and interests.
Who We're Looking For:
· Proficiency in core web technologies (HTML, & CSS) is required.
· Experience with other programming languages (e.g., Python, Scratch) is a strong asset.
· Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and patiently to beginners.
· A creative and enthusiastic mindset, with a passion for technology and education.
· Previous teaching, mentoring, or tutoring experience is highly preferred.
· Must provide a Vulnerable Sector Check.
