Responsibilities:

Preparing and uploading necessary documents for board of directors and committee meetings, including agendas, minutes, and reports.

Keeping the company and its subsidiaries' books and records up-to-date, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible.

Drafting and formatting various legal documents, such as contracts, resolutions, and annual reports.

Filing annual comparative reports in Canada and the United States with the help of our correspondents, ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulatory requirements.

Performing various administrative tasks, including managing mail, scheduling meetings, and handling phone calls.

Creating, organizing, and maintaining physical and electronic files systematically and securely.

Ensuring smooth communication with board members, company executives, clients, and other stakeholders.

Assisting in the coordination of legal projects, working closely with other members of the legal team.

Reviewing and analyzing legal documents to identify relevant information and ensure accuracy.
In this role, you will become an essential pillar of our legal team, contributing to the success of our projects and the adherence to the highest legal standards. We are looking for a proactive, organized individual with a strong sense of confidentiality and professional ethics.
Qualifications:
To succeed as a Corporate Paralegal, you need:

A college diploma (DEC) in legal techniques or a diploma of vocational studies (DVS) in secretarial studies or equivalent experience;

Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a similar position.

Excellent communication skills and strong proficiency in French and English, both oral and written (verified by test).

Proficiency in computer tools, such as Microsoft Office 365.

Knowledge of Englobe software, Corporatek, and Board Vantage (an asset).
