Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of construction projects, including restoration, carpentry, plumbing, and more. Duties
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring safety and organization
- Use hand tools and power tools for various tasks such as framing, caulking, and installation work
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support project execution
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, flooring installation, tile laying, and drywall work
- Support plumbing and other activities as needed during renovation
- Assist with restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged structures or surfaces
- Apply construction painting techniques to prepare surfaces for finishing
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of hand tools, schematics reading, carpentry, caulking, plumbing, flooring installation, and tile laying is advantageous
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward learning new skills
- Reliable transportation or access to job sites as required
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and adhere to company policies
