We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Spot Welder to join our production team, on Night Shift. This role focuses on assembling and resistance spot welding perforated stainless steel components used to manufacture filtration baskets and other custom products.
Night Shift Premium: $3 per hour
Night shift: Monday - Thursday 8:00pm to 6:30am
What You'll Do
- Assemble perforated stainless steel components to engineering drawings.
- Perform resistance spot welding on baskets and other fabricated assemblies.
- Read and interpret basic manufacturing drawings and work instructions.
- Ensure parts meet quality standards and dimensional requirements.
- Inspect completed work and identify defects before moving to the next operation.
- Safely operate spot welding equipment and hand tools.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Work with production and quality teams to meet daily schedules.
'Qualifications'
- Previous spot welding or light fabrication experience is an asset.
- Proven experience as a spot welder or similar role in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
- Proficiency with MIG and TIG welding techniques.
- Ability to operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Experience working with stainless steel is preferred.
- Ability to read tape measures and basic fabrication drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good manual dexterity and ability to work with repetitive production tasks.
- Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs when required.
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including standing for long periods.
