Job Overview
The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling products according to specifications, ensuring high quality and efficiency in the production process. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining production schedules, ensuring product integrity, and contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, machinery, and equipment used in the assembly process.
- Assemble, disassemble, and inspect various downhole tools and equipment such as drill bits, stabilizers, motors, measurement while drilling (MWD) systems, and other downhole components.
- Load and unload deliveries adhering to safety procedures
- Assist in the setup and teardown of assembly lines, ensuring efficient workflow and minimizing downtime.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with the assembly process, making adjustments or reporting to the Foreman when necessary.
- Ensure downhole tools are calibrated to meet manufacturer and operational requirements, and assist with calibration procedures when necessary.

- Education / Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant Experience:
- Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a similar role is preferred
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly processes.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with colleagues and supervisors.

The candidate must be located in Edmonton and legally allowed to work in Canada without requiring sponsorship.
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
