About the Role
Everco window and door is a manufacturing company focused on aluminum and hybrid systems. We are seeking a Lead hand- Window and Door Assembler with deep hands-on experience in aluminum window and door fabrication to lead assembly and train the production team. The Lead Hand is a hands-on production leader responsible for coordinating daily manufacturing activities on the shop floor while actively participating in the assembly of aluminum windows. This role ensures products are built according to shop drawings, system requirements, and quality standards, while maintaining productivity, safety, and workflow efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and coordinate a team of assemblers on the aluminum window production line
· Assign daily tasks based on production priorities and schedules
· Ensure smooth workflow across frame assembly, sash assembly, crimping, glazing, and hardware installation
· Identify and resolve minor production issues to avoid delays
· Assemble aluminum window frames and sashes (casement, fixed, sliding, tilt-turn as applicable)
· Assist with glazing, hardware installation, and final assembly when required
· Step in on complex or high-precision assemblies
· Quality control: Verify assemblies meet shop drawings, tolerances, and system requirements
· Perform first-off and in-process quality checks (squareness, operation, drainage, finish)
· Identify defects early and coordinate corrections to reduce rework and scrap
· Ensure proper handling of thermal break profiles and insulated glass units
· Enforce safety procedures, PPE use, and proper tool handling
· Identify unsafe conditions and report or correct them immediately
· Maintain clean, organized, and efficient workstations (5S principles)
· Train new and existing employees on assembly procedures and quality standards
· Demonstrate correct use of tools, fixtures, and equipment
· Support skill development across different window systems and stations
· Act as the main point of contact between production staff and management
· Communicate material shortages, quality issues, or equipment problems
· Provide feedback on production efficiency and improvement opportunities
Qualifications & Experience
· 7+ years experience in aluminum window and doors manufacturing is a MUST
· Strong understanding of thermal break aluminum systems and crimped corner assembly
· Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and production documents
· Experience with glazing, hardware installation, and quality inspection
· Previous leadership or team coordination experience preferred

Pay: $64,800.00-$79,000.00 per year
