Location: Grand Falls, NL
Job Type: Full-Time Temporary (3–4 Week Contract)
We are looking for hardworking and reliable General Labourers to join our team for a short-term demolition project in Grand Falls. This is a physically demanding role that involves assisting with demolition activities, site clean-up, material handling, and supporting the crew to ensure the project is completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Assist with interior and exterior demolition work
- Remove debris and construction materials from the worksite
- Load, unload, and move tools and materials
- Use basic hand and power tools as directed
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow all safety procedures and supervisor instructions
- Perform other general labour duties as required
Requirements
- Previous demolition or construction experience is an asset but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
Required PPE
Applicants must arrive with:
- CSA-approved steel toe safety boots
- Hard hat
- High-visibility safety vest
- Safety glasses
- Work gloves
Additional PPE may be provided depending on site requirements. Demolition work commonly requires appropriate protective equipment based on site hazards and a safety assessment.
