We are seeking a dedicated and organized Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, efficient, and welcoming kitchen environment. Duties
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Support the storage of ingredients and supplies, ensuring proper labeling and organization
- Help with dishwashing and sanitation procedures to ensure a hygienic environment
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling processes efficiently
- Support the culinary team during meal service by providing necessary assistance as directed
Skills
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail in maintaining hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions precisely
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
