Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. Must have Smart Serve. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and service stations
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently met, including proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and drink options to enhance guest experience
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously with effective time management
- Assist in setting up and breaking down service areas before and after shifts
- Uphold hospitality standards by creating a welcoming environment for all guests
Skills
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially with serving and bartending roles
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and managing tabs
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and interact with guests confidently
