Part-Time Operations & Admin Coordinator (25 hrs/week)

We’re looking for someone who loves bringing order to chaos.
FitHub YYC / Barracks Fitness is a fast-growing fitness and community space, and we need a detail-oriented, systems-minded person to help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.
This role is part admin, part operations, part problem-solver.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Managing emails and day-to-day communications
- Handling phone calls and member inquiries
- Organizing schedules, documents, and internal systems
- Creating and improving processes to make operations smoother
- Supporting event planning and execution (competitions, community events, in-house initiatives)
- Keeping things on track across multiple moving pieces
What We’re Looking For
- Strong administrative background (this is not entry-level)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Systems thinker: you don’t just do tasks, you improve them
- Clear, professional communicator (written and verbal)
- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities without things slipping
- Self-starter who takes ownership and follows through
Schedule & Structure
- Approximately 25 hours per week
- Flexible working hours, but must be able to:
- Work in-office 4 days per week for a few hours each day
- Support occasional events (evenings/weekends, ~4–6 times per year)
Compensation
- $27–$33 per hour (based on experience)

- Emails are handled quickly, clearly, and without follow-up
- Member issues are resolved accurately the first time
- Fewer recurring problems week-to-week
- Systems become simpler and more efficient over time
- Nothing falls through the cracks

Requirements
- 2+ years in admin, operations, or customer service
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Based in Calgary or able to reliably commute
- Comfortable working in-person regularly
