Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service to ensure a positive experience from arrival to departure
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists efficiently to optimize flow and minimize wait times
- Assist with food handling and serving duties, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of the front of house areas, including dining spaces, reception, and service stations
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to coordinate orders and address guest needs promptly
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve concerns professionally, and provide information about menu items or services
- Support overall restaurant or hotel operations by ensuring compliance with health regulations and food safety protocols
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
- Experience in hospitality settings such as hotels or cafes is advantageous
- Ability to perform cleaning duties diligently to uphold cleanliness standards
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
