Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Summer time ECE student to join our team. As a summer position, you will be responsible for creating a fun and educational environment for children. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of the preschoolers.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement engaging activities for children
- Foster a safe and inclusive environment for all children
- Provide guidance and support to children in their personal growth and development
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and children progress
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding child's experiences and any concerns that may arise
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in an educational or recreational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect with children of various ages
- Ability to create and implement age-appropriate activities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English and French(Spanish would be great )
- CPR and First Aid certification and Vulnerable Sector Check
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
