Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in operating heavy equipment and possess mechanical knowledge to ensure efficient excavation operations.
Ideal candidate would be located on the Avalon
Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators, backhoes, loaders, graders, and dozers to perform various excavation tasks.
-Stockpiling contaminated soil
-Turning/Aerating contaminated soil
-Operating scale house when needed
=Travelling across island when required
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of all machinery on the construction site.
- Collaborate with the construction team to plan and execute excavation projects effectively.
- Maintain and service equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Experience:
- Proven experience in excavator operation and heavy equipment operation.
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Class 1 & 3 license is an asset .
